Swiss Chicken

2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tbs lemon juice
ground pepper, to taste
1 tbs basil
1/2 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 (10 oz) can mushroom soup
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Cut chicken pieces and place in a 2 qt dish. Sprinkle lemon juice, ground pepper, basil, and onion soup mix evenly over chicken.
3. Spread mushroom soup evenly over top of chicken.
4. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.
5 Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake for another 5 minutes.
6. Serve over rice.

* I have used sliced Swiss cheese, and that works well also.
