2 lbs lean ground beef or buffalo
23 oz tomato juice (or 1/2 bottle of V8)
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can red beans
1 (15 oz) can corn
1 and 1/2 cups chopped onion
1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
1. Cook meat over medium heat and drain.
2. In a large stockpot, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 1 and 1/2 hours.
*I like to eat my chili with Wheat Thin cracker chips. Very good!
