Oreo Truffles

1 pkg Oreo cookies
1 pkg Cream Cheese, room temp
1 lb Bakers Semi Sweet chocolate

In a blender or plastic bag, crush oreos into a medium fine crumb. Measure out about 1/2 a cup of the crumbs and set aside. Add the cream cheese to the oreo crumbs and mix until it becomes a creamy dough. Take about a teaspoon of the truffle mixture and roll it into a ball. Place on a baking sheet covered with wax paper. Once you have rolled the rest of the mixture, place the pan in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. While the truffles are in the freezer, melt the semi sweet chocolate over low heat on the stove. After the truffles have been in the freezer long enough, take them out and dip each one in the chocolate. After you dip each one, sprinkle the reserved crumbs over the tops. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.

You can also dip in white chocolate, drizzle white or semi-sweet chocolate over them, roll in nuts, etc. They are always a hit!
